The developers at EA Sports turn their attention to Formula 1 for the first time on the GameCube, and with F1 2002 they have once more produced an accessible, enjoyable, and challenging game--one that still needs a little work but has much to offer. As ever with EA Sports, the game is thoroughly buffed up with official team names, tracks, drivers, and the like, accompanied by their usual high standards of presentation. Frankly, its hard not to feel sucked in from the minute the game boots up. The gentle learning curve allows you to opt for shorter, easier races before ultimately making your way to a full Formula 1 season, where youll need to brace yourself for the incredible challenge posed by the computer-controlled opposition. Each race offers warm-up, qualifying, and pit decisions, and you can choose between a simulation or a more arcade-esque game. Its not too easy to get to grips with at first, but once you
e on track F1 2002 feels right, and it does give you the sense that you
e in the middle of a full-fledged Grand Prix. Getting the most out of F1 2002 requires patience and practice, though, and if you aren willing to apply both, then a more arcade-y racing game such as Burnout should be nearer the top of your list. Likewise, if you bought last years not dissimilar effort on the PS2, then you may be better off seeking an alternative challenge. But if you
e willing to put in the time, and you get a kick out of racing games, then F1 2002 is well worth considering.

Diablo in Middle Earth |
Having bought and enjoyed the GBA version of "the Two Towers", Id heard this was more of the same. It is - and its even better. Its a third-person fighting game, following the plot of "Return of the King", and if youve ever played Diablo, its the same sort of thing. Wander round, hack and slash at the bad guys, pick up the bits of weapons and armour they leave behind and sell them to buy better equipment and skills for your character. You can play several characters from the game, each of which has different strengths and weaknesses, and each of which follows a slightly different plot depending on their role in the story. This allows the game to replayed several times in completely different ways if you decide to finish it with each different character. The graphics are well-done, and there are screenshots from the film to illustrate bits of the story (including bits which were clearly cut from the film - get your sneak preview of the extended version here!). The music is excellent, being based on key signature themes from the score, and its not too tinny either, for a GBA game. If I had any complaints at all, it would be that theyve made it slightly too easy since enemies dont do much damage and good items are introduced very early in the game - the Two Towers game was a lot more challenging. Definitely nice to look at, fun to play, and many hours of entertainment to be had from it too.

When i first got it for christmas i started playing on it straight away. i new what to do because i recently watched the film. It has great graphics and its not like on of those easy games which you complete in a day. It features some of the sound tracks from the film. enoug about what i liked about, here are two things you can do with two types of cables: 1.link cable-Connect up to a friends gba/sp and trade items fight enemys with each other 2.gba to gc cable-unlock characters and play on the gamecube (only if you have the gc version of tis game)

WOW!!! |
This game gives you everything. It is done in the same layout as The Two Towers GBA game. You can choose ou of 6 different charachters: Gimli (YES!!!!!!) Legolas Frodo Sam Gandalf (MAGIC!!!!!) Aragorn Pluss you can unlock a furthter 2: Eoywin (spelling???) Someone else (have to unlock her/him first then Ill tell you). Each charcater (like in The Two Towers GBA Game) has different skills (MAGIC-Gandalf!) and abilitys(MAGIC!!!!) which can be upgraded from leval to leval. This makes the game a chooce altoghter: which character? What abilitys? What Skills? And the is not ALL!!! The game has levals from ALL 3 films and has a multi way option. There must be over 200 levals in all! (Twice that of The Two Towers GBA game!!!). And then there is still the multi player! Join and go threw the game OR do multi player maps not in SINGLE PLAYER!!! You can unlock new items with this pluss new skills!!! All in all the Game is V.Good!!! It has everything that The Two Towers has plus more. (e.g Gimli for Single player, 2,000 new items and hundreds more skills!!). GET IT!!!
